Just before beginning construction, Dr. Gordon sold Arroyo Pet Clinic to National PetCare Centers Inc. A few months after he entered the completed Arroyo PetCare Center in the 2005 Hospital Design Competition, National PetCare Centers merged with VCA Antech Inc., changing the practice name once again.
