According to Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Conference speaker Dan Chapel, AIA, NCARB, having too much storage is, as they say, like being too rich or too beautiful—not likely. In this video he explains the importance of maximizing the space in your clinic and shares one way to do so. Bonus: It has a housekeeping plus.

"Take (cabinetry) all the way to the ceiling and gain (the space) that, when it's not filled in with cabinets, just becomes a dust and hair catcher on top of the upper cabinets," he says.
